Delayed AGAIN

            On the day that I went to get a cupcake picture to wish jacq happy birthday it was REALLY windy and cold! Normally, when it's that cold I wouldn't have bothered leaving the house, but since it was for such an important person I sucked it up and went. I took some pictures as I was heading towards the lake. 

Here's a pic I took as we were walking down towards the lake. Not sure if you can tell, but the branches and leaves are all blowing towards us as we fought the wind walking down.

Normally there isn't much movement in the water, but here you can see the waves coming to the shore. Since it was so windy, everyone was banned from going into the lake too. So much for the idea I had of taking a pretty pic of the cupcake on the canoe seat with a scenic water and shoreline background. It was a pretty scene in my imagination~ The lighting was just right too since it's sunset time there.

Guess what my sister brought home for her night out studying?! Boba Tea! Yay!! She ordered some weird complicated drink that the employee there is considering naming it after her and I just asked for Taro when she called~ We can't all be complicated lol Hers is a mixture of coconut meat, almond jelly, and this other thing all sitting in coconut milk ^~^

Two Weekends Ago

I'm seriously late in posting this! So I went persimmon picking a while back and it was really fun! We got to use a 5 foot long stick to reach up to the tree and pick them! If we wanted, we could also go up a 3-5 foot high ladder!

 Hehe! And we also got to use a wagon if we got tired of carrying our baskets! The persimmon in the center is the one we liked the best and had the hardest time getting! It's such a special persimmon that it got to sit in my sister's purse on the drive back!

Ah, and below is what I did with all the persimmons when my sister left me unsupervised with them~ I made them look even prettier on our dinner table! Lol, but then I also made it more difficult to get around in our small kitchen when I moved the table right smack in the middle of it.  

MADE SALMON TODAY!!!! LOL

The Fan vs. The Swifter Duster

Ok... Today I noticed that in between the bars of my fan were dusty. Being a smart little cookie, I thought that it would be better to turn the fan up high so it can blow all the pieces of dust that I miss off as I wiped. This way I'll just vacuum them up afterward since I was planning to vacuum anyways. I know the rule is to be careful to not stick your fingers in when the fan is on, but it didn't occur to me to be careful to not stick the Swifter duster in too. Yep, it totally didn't occur to me since I was so absorbed in the battle against this one LONG piece of dust that was dangling on the inside part of the bar. It seriously felt like it was TAUNTING me! SO I shoved the Swifter Duster in to get it and BAM! A piece of the fan's blade came flying out through the bars missing me just as I was moving my head for a better angle of the dust I was trying to get! Yea...it was quite interesting... I mean, wouldn't anyone think that it would be the stick part of the Swifter duster that would break? I obviously thought that! Well, my fan is broken now and I'm definitely not a smart cookie today.
